Two ways of reading the same sentence
Illustration of the design goal
A reader that counts keywords sees “harika” and calls it praise. A reader that follows the whole sentence hears the complaint.
Switch between the two and watch the labels.
-
Yine harika bir hizmet, 3 saattir hatta bekliyorum.
Great service again, I have been on hold for 3 hours. -
Bu fiyata bu kalite, helal olsun.
This quality at this price, well done. -
Kargo geldi ama kutu ezik, neyse ki ürün sapasağlam.
The parcel came with a crushed box, luckily the product is intact. -
Bayıldım desem yalan olur.
I would be lying if I said I loved it.
Why build another listening tool
Most listening tools were built around English. In Turkish, meaning hides in suffixes, idioms and sarcasm, and automatic sentiment often gets it wrong.
Our analysts have spent years correcting those labels by hand, one mention at a time. PulseSight starts from that corrected reading.
What it is meant to do
- Read in context. Sentiment and topic are judged from the whole sentence, the way a local analyst would judge them.
- Fit on a phone. The day's conversation about a brand is designed for the screen people check first.
- Start without a project. It is offered as a service, so a team can begin without a long setup.
Where it stands
PulseSight is in development. We are working toward a first release and would like to hear from teams who want to try it early.
